PokéPath TD is a tower defense game that is based on the Pokemon brand, but the emphasis is heavily placed on the development of the team and its further progress. You do not build stationary towers; instead of this, you invite Pokemon, position them on the road, improve their characteristics, and transform them into a more powerful form in order to prevent the onslaught of enemies.
The game has nine different routes each having its own layout and enemy patterns. The purpose of the game is to control a flexible Pokémon team, adjust your strategy based on the route and make smart choices regarding where to place, which upgrades to make, and when to evolve.
How to Play
PokéPath TD follows classic tower defense fundamentals, enhanced with Pokémon-style depth:
- Place Pokémon along enemy routes
- Defeat waves to earn experience
- Level up and evolve your units
- Adjust your team based on enemy types
- Switch between routes without losing progress
If a route becomes overwhelming, you can leave, train on another path, and return later with a stronger lineup.
Game Controls
- Mouse Click - Select Pokémon, place units, navigate menus
- Click & Drag - Adjust Pokémon positioning on the route
Progression & Evolution
- Progression is persistent and rewarding:
- Pokémon keep their XP even after defeat
- Evolution provides major stat and ability upgrades
- Unused Pokémon can be stored in the PC box
- Different routes favor different team compositions
A Pokémon that seems weak early on may become essential later.
Auto Mode & Passive Farming
An optional Auto Mode allows passive progression:
- Farm experience automatically
- Replay earlier routes efficiently
- Prepare teams for advanced challenges
It’s not mandatory but very convenient for steady growth.
Legendary Pokémon Battles
The endgame challenge is to clear every route and defeat all Legendary Pokémon. These fights demand refined team balance, smart evolution choices, and strong strategic planning. Tough, fair, and highly satisfying.
