What Is Among Us?
Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game that mixes teamwork with deception. The game is created by InnerSloth and involves 4 -15 players in a spaceship or space station. They all appear homogeneous but not all play fair. The majority of the players are Crewmates attempting to accomplish tasks. Impostors are one or more players whose task is to sabotage systems and kill others undercover. The tension comes from not knowing who to trust.
Game Rule: Cooperation vs Deception
Each round assigns players one of two roles:
Crewmates
- Complete tasks around the map
- Watch other players closely
- Report bodies and call meetings
- Vote to eject suspected impostors
Impostors
- Pretend to do tasks
- Sabotage systems to create chaos
- Eliminate crewmates when no one is watching
- Manipulate discussions to avoid suspicion
When a body is reported or the emergency button is pressed, everyone debates and votes. One wrong decision can cost the entire game.
How to Play Among Us
- Click Play Game
- Join a public match or create a private room for friends
- Receive a random role: Crewmate or Impostor
- Play your role until one side wins
Each match is short, intense, and unpredictable.
Basic Controls
For Crewmates
- Move - W / A / S / D or Arrow Keys (Desktop)
- Use / Interact - E or Click / Tap
- Report Body - R or Report button
- Open Map - Tab or Map icon
- Complete Tasks - Click / Tap task panel
- Settings - Esc or Gear icon
For Impostors
- Kill - Q or Kill button (when in range)
- Sabotage - Sabotage button, select system
- Vent - Vent button when standing on a vent
- Fake Tasks - Stand near task areas
- Blend In - Act calm and talk smart
